Atlanta Tech Week kicks off next week with a full lineup of sessions, workshops, networking events and more.
From the atl.tech website:
Atlanta Tech Week brings together the local technology ecosystem, fostering collaboration and creating a nurturing environment for all participants. By promoting knowledge sharing, networking, and idea exchange, this event paves the way for Atlanta to flourish as a hub of technological innovation and opportunity.
Here's a day-by-day preview of the event from an open source perspective:
Monday, June 10
The Atlanta Tech Park in Peachtree Corners kicks off the week's events with networking, demos and sessions mostly focused on startups. Atlanta Tech Park, Curiosity Labs and Tech Alpharetta representatives have a talk scheduled about entrepreneur communities outside the perimeter. Other sessions of note include a women in leadership panel discussion and a look at the future of games and e-sports in Georgia.
Tuesday, June 11
The startup focus moves inside the perimeter to Atlanta Tech Village for a second day filled with sessions for entrepreneurs. A session in the afternoon on the future of Atlanta Tech Village promises some updates on new developments in south downtown – the founders of ATV purchased 53 buildings and 6 acres of parking lots in early 2024.
Wednesday, June 12
Wednesday is full of events at several locations in midtown and downtown including ATDC, which features a session on selling tech to the government. The government theme continues at Switchyards Downtown for an evening meetup with the U.S. Digital Service and U.S. Digital Corps.
